Jana Lee Beus is the principal product and pattern designer at Doll Stuff by Jana®. With over 30 years experience and more than 2,000 published designs to her credit, Jana’s designs have been carried everywhere patterns are sold, including national chains, such as Hancock Fabrics, JoAnn’s, ZCMI, and Penney’s.
Jana’s career began in 1980 with Sunrise Designs patterns for children’s clothing and home decor. Since then, her designs include: 100+ patterns for Simplicity; an exclusive 8-book specialty pattern line for Wal-Mart; contributions to the Singer Sewing Reference Library; commercial ready-to-wear lines carried by Nordstrom’s and other retailers; and custom work for the Salt Lake Parade of Homes and other local businesses.
Jana and her designs have been featured on several craft and sewing television shows—including segments on The Home Show (ABC), hosted by Sarah Purcell and Gary Collins, and most recently, Creative Living with Sheryl Borden (PBS).
Jana’s inspiration for Doll Stuff by Jana® comes from her three granddaughters who love to play with their dolls!
